Under bright sunshine, the IFB network celebrated its opening in Kuchengartenstraße in Leipzig with 300 guests.

The IFB (Inclusion through Support and Care) network celebrated the opening of its new rented premises at Kuchengartenstraße 6-10 in Leipzig with over 300 guests.

This marks another milestone in the “The Care” project on Kuchengartenstraße in Leipzig for the tenants, companies in the IFB network, the future owner, the LHI Group, and the project developer, RTLL Lewerenz Holding AG.

Located in the Reudnitz district, “The Care” is a unique multi-generational property in Leipzig with a total rental area of approximately 4,700 m² and an in-house underground car park with 34 parking spaces.

The property combines an inclusive daycare center for 120 children, a hospice with 12 beds, a regional office for the care of people with disabilities, and 41 senior-friendly apartments. The usage concept and architectural design were discussed and developed in close cooperation with the Office for Youth, Family, and Education and the City of Leipzig.

The LHI Group has acquired the property from RTLL Lewerenz Holding AG for the special AIF “LHI Wohnen im Alter I” managed by it. The fund qualifies as an Article 9 fund under the SFDR. The acquisition of the property is expected to take place at the beginning of Q3 2023.

RTLL Lewerenz Holding AG is a project developer based in Kirchberg near Zwickau with over 30 years of experience in project development and turnkey construction. The focus is on residential and commercial buildings, retail properties, and properties with social benefits.

The multi-generational property The Care is shaping urban development in Leipzig, promoting intergenerational exchange, and meeting the highest sustainability criteria. We are delighted to be involved in this showcase project. ” says Markus Niedermeier, Managing Director of the LHI Group.
