Tailor-made investment products for

Insurance companies

Solvency II has imposed far-reaching obligations on the insurance industry. We offer investment products that are precisely tailored to these requirements and thus to the needs of insurance providers.

In consultation with the investors, either securitised structures such as bonds or traditional participation models are created. When developing the products, the insurance company’s attributable solvency capital ratio is an important criterion. In the case of infrastructure investments, structures are possible that can be categorised as qualified infrastructure investments in accordance with the relevant EU directive. Our products consider the sustainability aspects in accordance with the EU Disclosure Regulation and can be structured as Article 8 or Article 9 funds.

In addition, our own certified ESG scoring model can be taken into account on request, especially in the real estate sector.

Pension schemes

LHI products meet all regulatory requirements of professional pension schemes.

Depending on the investor’s wishes, capital investments can be made in securitisation forms that are eligible for special funds such as

Every LHI investment is eligible as a security asset. Alternatively, LHI offers classic investment structures via closed-end special AIFs (No. 13/14c or No. 17 AnlV) or Luxembourg SICAV/SICAF structures. Our products consider the sustainability aspects in accordance with the EU Disclosure Regulation and can be structured as Article 8 or Article 9 funds.

In addition, our own certified ESG scoring model can be taken into account on request, especially in the real estate sector.

Pension funds

We offer customised structures in the asset classes of real estate, renewable energies and aviation. Of course, we also design the investment products generally known for pension funds.

From an initial volume of 20 million euros in equity capital, we design investments that are eligible as security assets and conform to the German Insurance Supervision Act (VAG) – for individual investors or an exclusive group of investors. Participation in existing portfolio funds is also possible. Investor representatives are involved in decision-making processes such as property purchases and sales via an investment committee.

Our products consider the sustainability aspects in accordance with the EU Disclosure Regulation and can be structured as Article 8 or Article 9 funds.

In addition, our own certified ESG scoring model can be taken into account on request, especially in the real estate sector.

Foundations and clerical investors

The successful investment of capital is a prerequisite for the promotional and management activities of non-profit investors.

In our special concepts for foundations and clerical investors, we put emphasis on a high degree of income security = constant income under commercial law from the investment asset.

Economic, ecological and social aspects are equally important to us. We incorporate these sustainability criteria, including impact investing, into our concepts. The regulations of the respective state foundation laws as well as tax requirements – especially for charitable foundations – are of course taken into account when designing our products.

Family Offices

We have been a reliable and successful partner for family foundations and renowned family offices for many years.

Wealthy private individuals have invested EUR 1.4 billion of equity so far in KAGB-compliant funds, LHI clubdeals and individual investments. Depending on the investor’s wishes, we implement the capital investments in different structures. The conception of these capital investments is developed in close coordination with the investors.
