LHI Capital Management

A capital management company (KVG) designs and issues regulated investment funds (Alternative Investment Funds AIF). It also manages investment funds. This requires the approval of the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin). In order to obtain this authorisation, an elaborate approval procedure must be carried out and all necessary requirements of the capital investment code must be fulfilled.

On August 12, 2014, LHI KVG received permission from the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) to act as an external capital management company. The license covers the issue and management of closed-end special AIFs and public AIFs in the real estate, renewables and aviation asset classes. LHI KVG also has a license for financial portfolio management.

LHI KVG launches new investment funds (special AIFs) for professional and semi-professional investors in accordance with the German Capital Investment Code. In addition, LHI KVG also manages numerous fund structures on behalf of LHI Leasing GmbH that were launched by the LHI Group before the KAGB came into force.

The depositary function for investment funds issued by LHI KVG was assumed by CACEIS Bank France S.A.
