Head of Group Accounting (m/f/d)

Your tasks
You will manage a team of three in terms of technical and disciplinary matters and be responsible for the timely preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with commercial and tax law regulations under the German Commercial Code (HGB) and RechKredV for the group companies
You will be the main contact person for all questions relating to accounting and the consolidated financial statements and will coordinate closely with internal and external contact persons during the preparation of the annual financial statements.
In addition, you will be responsible for the accounting support of various affiliated and group companies, predominantly in the legal form of GmbH or GmbH & Co. KG.
You will actively drive forward the optimization of processes, including the further development of the group preparation tool (SAP Group Reporting).
In close coordination with corporate controlling, you will prepare cash flow calculations.
Your profile
You have a degree in business administration or a comparable qualification (e.g. accountant (m/f/d)).
You have many years of practical experience in accounting (SAP S/4HANA if possible); ideally with responsibility for closing and reporting processes as well as experience in the area of group accounting.
You have extensive knowledge of the German Commercial Code (HGB). Additional experience with RechKredV is an advantage.
You are experienced in dealing with external contacts, e.g., auditors or supervisory bodies.
You are confident, have strong communication skills, and are highly service-oriented. Your approach to work is structured, solution-oriented, and team-oriented.
