Insurance
Solvency II entails wide-ranging obligations for the insurance industry. LHI optimised investment products tailored to the needs of insurance companies. In consultation with investors, either securitised structures such as bonds or traditional investment models are created. An important criterion in developing these products is the solvency ratio of the insurer. Designs classified according to § 2 par. 1 AnlV numbers 8, 9 or 10 are available. In addition, all LHI products for VAG investors meet the investment rules for premium reserve stocks.
Pension insurance funds
LHI products meet all regulatory requirements of occupational pension funds. Depending on investor request, investments can be represented in securitised bearer bonds (No. 8 AnlV), participation certificates (No. 9 AnlV) or certificates (No. 10 AnlV) in the form of special funds. Premium reserve stock eligibility is given for every LHI investment. Alternatively, LHI offers traditional investment structures via closed special AIF (No. 13/14c or No. 17 AnIV) or Luxembourg SICAV / SICAF structures.
Pension fund
In addition to the well-known products for pension funds, we offer individual structures in real estate and renewable energies asset classes. Starting at a start-up volume of EUR 20 million, we are designing premium reserve stock eligibility and VAG-compliant investments for individual investors or an exclusive group of investors. Participation in existing portfolio funds is also possible. Investors' representatives are involved in decision-making processes, such as the purchase and sale of properties, via an investment committee.
Charitable foundations
The successful management of the foundation's assets is the prerequisite for funding activities of charitable foundations and the fulfilment of the purpose of the foundation. LHI focuses on a high level of guaranteed commercial income, i.e. constant return from the investment project when designing special investment products for charitable trusts. The individual focus on a homogeneous client group ensures the uniformity of investor interests. Regulations of the relevant state foundation laws as well as tax requirements, especially for charitable foundations, are taken into account in the design of the product.
Family offices
LHI has been a proven partner for family foundations and reputable family offices. Wealthy private individuals have invested EUR 1.4 billion of equity so far in KAGB-compliant funds, LHI Clubdeals and individual investments.

LHI received a special award for innovation from the rating agency Scope. This award goes to asset managers with high in-house structuring expertise as well as consistent focus on the needs of institutional investors. This expertise is the result of customised product solutions. The securitisation of alternative investment funds (AIF securitisation) in renewable energies and real estate asset classes deserves special recognition.
